Orientation will be at 5:45pm Thursday January 3rd prior to the start of the first session at Kapiolani Park Bandstand.
Tuesday & Thursday evenings and Sunday early AM runs.
Bonus: Friday evening swim and Saturday AM bike rides.

Matt Pitts - Coordinator

Matt grew up in San Francisco Bay Area and began running competitively in intermediate school. He went to high school in Mountain View , CA where he competed on the varsity cross-country and track & field teams for all four years. After Mountain View , he attended college at UCLA, majoring in psychobiology and competing on the cross-country and track & field teams. At UCLA, he was coached by 2004 Olympic distance coach Bob Larsen where he was a 3-time letter winner in cross-country and a Pac-10 scorer on the track in the 3000m steeplechase.
In 2004, Matt moved to Hawaii to pursue graduate studies in Cell & Molecular Biology at the University of Hawaii . Lately he has trying to get himself back into shape by participating in local triathlons and road races. He looks forward to working with others who enjoy running and helping them to run their best.

Dustin was an avid volleyball player for many, many years until he retired from competitive play a few years ago. An accomplished triathlete and runner, Dustin completed his third year as the Jog/walk Group marathon coach. He successfully coached many jog/walk group athletes to completing their first ever marathon over the last 5 years.
