Beau Miller - Coordinator
Beau came to triathlon from a mountain bike background, and has found a new love in off-road triathlons. He had the good fortune of qualifying for the Xterra World Championships last year, and had such a good time that he decided to co-create a Team Jet clinic specifically with the goal of getting more people into off-road racing.
With a background in BMX, downhill mountain biking, freeride mountain biking, cross country mountain bike racing and both on and off-road triathlons, Beau would like to share everything he knows about safe and fun off-road riding.
Barry Harrington - Coach
Barry grew up in Texas racing motorcycles and starting racing bicycles at an early age. Later on he got into mountain bike cross country and raced for a number of years. These days he does a lot of road biking, but his passion is still off road riding.
Michael "Biz" Bisig- Coach
Biz started his biking career as a young lad with only his BMX bike and a dream. The bustling streets of his home town (Wilmington, OH) were a proving ground of sorts. Although he learned many things in central Ohio, he knew there had to be more!
In 2005, after years of traveling all over the United States as a professional musician, Biz found himself in the heart of Honolulu. It was here that he would meet the greatest legend ever to roam this wonderful paradise…Chet the Jet! (cue trumpet fanfare)
While working with the “Jet,” Biz was called back to Ohio and spent an entire year waiting for his training to continue. Finally, the time had come to make a valiant return! A Momentous occasion has led him to where he is now…
…back in Oahu to ride over city streets, long highways, and lush mountains. If ever there is a fun ride to be had, BIZ will be there!

The Mountain Bike Clinic will be a skills orientated clinic with the goal of getting more road triathletes on the dirt! This clinic will teach riders secrets of technical riding, while focusing on increasing control and safety. With rides at various locations around the island, this is a great opportunity to get out there in the mountains, see some new trails and experience a whole new way of cycling.
The Mountain Bike Clinic is timed to run after the summer road triathlon season ends and finshes in time for the Mountain Man Triathlon. The Mountain Man is a qualifier for the Xterra World Championships on Maui, with Hawaii residents given an unprecedented number of qualifying spots.
